Commissioned by Mr Davison, the 15.50-metre Jennifer D was launched in the spring of 1965. However, in January 1966 Mr Davidson saw a 17.80-metre Feadship at the London Boat Show and was so fond of this showboat that he decided to buy the bigger yacht instead. So he sold the first Jennifer D in the spring of 1966 where she was renamed Lady Holland, and his new boat became the second Jennifer D.
