Hull 673 was under construction for a customer who unfortunately passed away before the yacht could be completed. She was therefore launched in late 1965 without an official christening but with the temporary name Yolande, which is how she was exhibited at the London Boat show in early January 1966. Mr Davison, who a year earlier had taken delivery of his 15.50-metre Feadship Jennifer D, immediately fell in love with this larger yacht and decided to buy her. Yolande was officially launched again in the spring of 1966 as Jennifer D.
