This is Dream
In 2003, two technological innovations could be found onboard Dream. She was the first Feadship to be fitted with a retractable azimuting sternthruster, linked to a semi–Dynamic Positioning System. Used in combination with the bowthruster, it held the yacht in position in a bay or other special deepwater location, removing the need to anchor during shorter stops. The second technology premier was the use of 230 Volt halogen lights instead of 12 Volts. Removing the need for transformers, this solution generated less heat and enhanced efficiency.
