Feadship congratulates Feadship Archimedes for winning the Science & Discovery award at the 4th YCM Explorer Awards.

Organised under the presidency of HSH Prince Albert II, the YCM Explorer Awards have been recognising owners who stand out for their commitment to protecting the marine environment. On 21 March 2024, during the 7th Monaco Ocean Week, HSH Prince Albert II handed over the prestigious award to the captain of the 67.75-metre Archimedes during a ceremony at the Yacht Club Monaco.

This recognition highlights Archimedes's commitment to exploring remote ocean regions and contributing to scientific research as well as humanitarian efforts. On board, five instruments measure light and temperature at the water's surface, providing a thorough understanding of the marine environment. In parallel with its scientific missions, Archimedes is also involved in humanitarian activities, distributing food, medicine, books, and building materials in disadvantaged areas.
