Perhaps you’ve noticed a few recent changes in Feadship’s look and feel – in our press releases and brochures, on our website. This is because we’ve subtly introduced a new visual element to our communications that channels the ancient mathematical principle of the Golden Ratio.

Like countless architects, artists and engineers before us, we are smitten by this ‘golden’ principle of balance, symmetry, and proportion. It is, after all, both our passion and our daily business. Inspired by nature, the Golden Ratio has for centuries been guiding principle in the arts.

At Feadship, we were naturally drawn to one of the Golden Ratio’s most endearing examples: the Nautilus shell. The Nautilus shell perfectly captures both our connection to the sea and our ambition to bring together nature and craftsmanship, technology and innovation to create harmonious and perfectly proportioned yachts that stand the test of time.

As both yacht lovers and Feadship fans, we are quite certain you’ll appreciate this wink to the ancient origins of beauty and symmetry.
